Brooklyn – 99 Book Tag (*noice*)

I saw this Book Tag somewhere but for the life of me I can’t remember, or find, where I first saw it. If you’ve done this too, please link or let me know about your post below. I’d love to see your answers!

Brooklyn – 99 is one of the greatest loves of my life and I honestly am SO HAPPY to share my love of it with you! This show has gotten me through some SERIOUSLY BORING Uni semesters and it will forever hold a sentimental place in my heart. I was a bit unsure at first if it would be ‘bookish enough’ to do a post on but decided to just say FORK IT (yes… The Good Place also has a piece of my heart) and have some fun!

Without further ado… I present my Bookish Brooklyn 99!

Captain Holt: An amazing diverse character who breaks stereotypes

Gina Linetti: A book or series on your TBR that has a massive fanbase

And there you have it! My Bookish Brooklyn 99 Cast! Who would you have chosen?

Jen

    1. OMG I’m so sorry for not replying! I have no idea why but your comments keep going in to my spam folder? There was another one on my other post that I hadn’t known was sent, as well. I hate not replying to comments – it always feels so rude. The B99 tag was a lot of fun to do! I’d love to see your responses on it! 😀 Jen

    1. Thanks Elysa! I couldn’t resist doing this tag. I’ve just finished watching all of the seasons (AGAIN) on Netflix and am suffering withdrawal… what do I do with my life now??!

  2. Rosa/Manon = the BEST match! I could read Manon night and day and never tire of her. (Though the feminist in me did find it dispiriting that our ultimate female badass had a name starting with “man” but you win some, you lose some…)

    1. I love a kick-ass female character. Especially those with such strong opinions! Manon literally was the reason I loved Kingdom of Ash! I agree with you about the name 😛 Maybe it has some alternative culturally-derived meaning of “the warrior’ …. but I highly doubt it. We can always hope though! 😛

      1. Agreed! I probably would have stopped reading the series at book 4 if it weren’t for Manon. Her power and command was hypnotic. And maybe you’re right about the name… let’s go with that! x
